Canine Good Citizen group class with dogs and handlers training together

Program Description

The Canine Good Citizen program bridges the gap between established obedience and dependable everyday manners. Working alongside other dogs and handlers, you and your dog will strengthen focus, impulse control, polite behavior, and reliable obedience while learning to work successfully around common distractions.

Through structured exercises and progressive challenges, you’ll practice the practical skills needed for everyday situations while preparing for the Canine Good Citizen evaluation.

Our structured one-hour group classes provide a supportive environment where dogs develop greater neutrality and reliability while owners gain confidence handling their dogs around people, other dogs, and increasing distractions.

The goal is a calm, well-mannered companion that can demonstrate good behavior both at home and within the community.
